According to reports, trying Prof. Dr. Tran Van Khe Tran Quang Khe real name, was born on 24-7-1921 in the village of Dong Hoa, Binh Thuan total, My Tho province (now in Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang). Prof. Dr. Tran Van Khe each medical college but he is known as the cultural researchers, traditional music.
He went to 67 countries around the world to speak, teaching about traditional music of Vietnam, with more than 200 articles on music Vietnam and Asian music is published in professional journals of many countries .

In his career, he was in Vietnam and the world awarded many high awards for talent and contribution to traditional music. He died on 24-6-2015 in HCMC.
